Sup peoples!

Well, this is really odd. I never in a million and one years thought i would blog but it seems to be a great way to keep people up to date. As I'm sure a lot of you know I'm not the best at keeping in touch, so i thought i could give this a whirl.

Life is good. Jeff and I are loving married life, despite the ups and downs we all have, and are looking to buy a house soon. Nothing to serious right now just getting some information about loans and such. We are really excited about the prospect of having a home and look forward to taking on this scary but exciting adventure!!

I am currently looking for a job after being let go at my previous job because of the economy. I'm sure we are all feeling the strain of what our economy is going through right now. Most of us know someone that is going through the frustration of job "security" or we are experiencing it ourselves. But I'm confident that God is going to take care of us and I will find something soon. The upside of being unemployed is having the chance to take some time to figure out what I really want to do with my life. So, I am going to try my hand at a more serious business with cakes and photography. Jeff and I have been talking about getting some business cards made, so that is the next step. Hopefully things will blossom from there. Check back for more updates...

Jeff is doing well at his job at Westinghouse and has just started back on the weekend shift. After being on 2ND shift for a month he definitely enjoys having the weekdays to rest and the weekend to work. As I am sure we all know the stresses of every job, Jeff's manager is an idiot! So being on the weekend shift allows Jeff to be as far from his manager as possible. :) I think we can all understand that. Overall he loves his job and i believe he is very happy there. We are very blessed.

Well i hope this short update has given you all a small glimpse into our lives as of right now. It was actually a very therapeutic thing for me. Maybe I'm a blogger after all.

We hope all is well, safe, and healthy.
